I am interested in collaborations that might facilitate a constructive dialogue between the sciences and arts, or explore how such a dialogue might be possible. Having just completed a BA in English , my main focus has been on literature, with particular emphasis on how the physical embodiment (embrainment?) of character and narrative resonates with the undermining of objective time, identity and memory in contemporary literature. I also conducted a research project on Beckett, Brain Lateralisation and Post-Structuralism.

I am passionate about theatre, and particularly about playwriting. My short play Horror Show won the Churchill Theatre Bromley Short Playwriting Competition in Summer 2010, and with two other winning plays had a rehearsed reading with professional actors and director at the Churchill. This was an eye-opener, and has helped me develop my writing a lot. I am a founder-member of GRAFT, a writing collective which currently has a residency at Pleasance Islington.
